hellooooooo guys!!

i know it's the exam period but i was blog-surfing (as usual) to destress and was reading alot of the jc class blogs (and how horrendously appalled i was to discover that the classes are already 07a11!!! MAN. we are OLD cos we're already great-great-grand seniors. *screams in distress* ok, perhaps it's time we join mdm tay with botox-ing. :X) and i was thinking back about jc days. (:

i thought of stupid cupid, of assemblies at chinese high, of singing the hc sch song, of laughing together at mr ang's "fahmily", of going into mrs lim's math class with handful of FOOD, of ponning lectures and tutorials, of ponning PE, of attempting to boycott mario, of mrs ang and her "go and die", of mrs goh first taking over as CT at the start of j2, of homecoming, of geog classes (i miss you, woon, edwin and andrew!!!) etc. they all feel really old school now. haha.

anyway, sorry for that reminiscing bit, i wrote this merely to wish the girls in spore all the best for the upcoming exams! (: shun, jo and jess, hope things overseas are fine for u and guys, cont to serve the country. much as i fear the security of our nation now, you guys shld be doing a good enough job. haha.

woah i can't believe i'm blogging

not that it really matters i think it will take 10 months before somebody realises.

anyway, this is not really a sign of me being bored. ok i lied. to some extent i am bored but then again i can always blog somewhere else or do something else if i really am that bored.

haha anyway, valentine's day was really funny, cos there i was at my workplace laughing at how people are silly enough to pay so much more for some weird valentine-y, lovey dovey thing on top of their purchases and feeling angry at retailers for commercialising a supposedly-private event between two whatevers. dun ask me why i was angry... just letting my not-very-righteous sense of righteousness take over the control of my emotions. which doesn't really make sense. then i started thinking of stupid cupid and realised, hey! we cheated a lot of people of their money like that too! muahahaha! just as i was feeling proud of my capacity to feel such evil i thought again about why we cheated that money. i hope the fistulas women are benefiting from what we have raised one year later. maybe i will rethink valentine's day as fistulas day. haha courtesy of en and her beliefs.

i am willing to bet 10 bucks that eddie will be the first person to realise that the class blog is very very slowly crawling at a speed of .00005mm/h to life. but very soon it will accelerated to a halt again. now how does that make sense?

and to my surprise one day when i stumbled on to that rather-badly taken class photo of our class i found out (finally) that there are only 10 guys in our class! ok. sorry for the slow reaction. i always thought it was 12 or something.

this is quite fun. now i know why lunatics enjoy talking to themselves.

well, wherever all of you are, i hope you are having fun. i know that pris is in australia right now and possibly packing her luggage to come out by now and that some of the guys whom i've not seen in 1000 years are in NS. wow amazing discovery. well it's quite pathetic to think that i'll only see them again on that day.

anyway, happy birthday in advance to you anna! i'm sure you'll only read this 12 weeks later.

i'm not joking larrrs!!! EDDDIE is superrrrrr efficient and has re-invited me to blog in the class blog!!!!! yayyyyyyyyyyyyy hopefully now more people will blog. we must blog conscientiously okayyy! otherwise we will never keep in touch in the future!

actually it's pretty close to our separation and HONESTLY we haven't spent that much time together! compared to our pri schoolmates, secondary schmates etc. SO why do people always stay in touch with their college mates? prolly because it's a time where we really change a lot and these people are here to watch us grow! so we kind of all grow in the same direction and you're more likely to remain lifelong friends with people you grow in the same way as ie people whom you have more in common with larrrs!

hello 04A11. your friendly sweet kind pretty adayadayada welfare rep reporting with both good news and bad!

the good news is. council says that we can do the stupid cupid thing for V day! YAY! (credit partly to atp :) )
the bad news is. we cannot sell the same things as them. i guess we can still sell balloons and chocs cuz all balloons and chocs are different. BUT. unfortunately all flowers are the same. so we cannot sell roses and whatever flowers they are selling. (evil) yes.

SOLUTION TO OUR PROBLEM: i have no idea. (x.X)
i was thinking we cld sell cacti! (the plural of cactus) like those cute colourful ones in pots. and decorate the pots.
we could bake HUGE cookies and personalise them.
thats all i can think of for now. everyone please BRAINSTORM and we will meet on monday to discuss!
ok. i'll split everyone into groups and tell yall the details on monday k! we needa do like massive publicity and thrash council flat!!!!

1 ticket : For the 640ML bottle, 24 caps are needed with the normal orange logo. They must have the words Thank You on them. 2 tickets : For the smaller bottle, 24 caps are also required but with the words 50 cents on them.

heyys everybody, sorry for taking so long to actually post an entry, my com is giving me lots of problems. anws, i really applaud edwin, cherhern and char for posting their comments. The fact that everyone is taking such an interest in the current matter really shows that we care for the class and tt we really wanna make it work. i really agree wif edwin tt we shouldn't be judgemental, i guess everyone is entitled to their own comments. let's not allow this matter to worsen relations in class, maybe we can just put it behind us and look ahead. one last note, as part of the family, i really feel compelled to add that we do not purposely exclude but if we have made the class feel this way, i am sorry. i think this is great class, let's try our very best to interact and help each other out, esp when promos are approaching! everyone take care and enjoy the hols k :)

Dearest CherHern, i was inclined to think you have changed for the better. That is, until i read your entry. I believe it was meant to be offensive, since you knew people would be offended, you decided to put it there anyway. Don’t attempt to portray yourself as a saint, CherHern. I am immensely disappointed and disgusted by your baseless accusations pointedly, at the 2nd intakers and the supposed family(as you would like it to be known as) for creating the rift in the class. May I jolt your memory then?
When I first came into this class at a 2nd intaker, there was absolutely zero attempt from you at establishing friendly relations. In fact, you were downright rude, sarcastic and vulgar. Of course, that is now in the past and I do not blame you for it. however, since you like bringing up the past so much and how the first 3 mths were far amiable and enjoyable in comparison, I am obliged to refute your point. I, too, had an enjoyable 1st 3mths and I suppose the other 2nd intakers would agree. I assume that all of us had lots of fun. But can I remind you CherHern, that that was in the past. What is your motive of bringing it up again? To segregrate the 2nd intakers frm the 1st intakers now? Do you suppose that I’m very happy being a 2nd intaker in a totally new environment? Is it fair for you to then imply that 2nd intakers caused the rift? Now, that is very childish to discuss the 1st intaker and 2nd intaker rubbish again, so I just wanted to make my point known to you.
Now, and the supposed exclusive and aloof “family” clique. Did it ever occur to you that YOU are the one who thinks that way? I for one, do not feel that I am being exclusive by being part of the family. And I don’t intend to explain to you how the family thing works, but it is by no means for the purpose of being EXCLUSIVE and to leave everyone out(as you so love to insinuate). Do you think we have nothing to do? To purposely isolate ourselves from the class? Is life as narrow minded as that? hello?? I really wonder why you’re making such a big HOOHA over nothing. Isnt the exclusivity and “family” thing just a part of your own narrow-minded self-centred point of view? We never established the fact that we didn’t want to be with the class nor be apart from the class. In fact, I believe we have a amicable co-existence with the rest of the class. Do we quarrel? No. so may I ask what is your problem CherHern since you belong to neither cliques(as you so love to establish)? In fact, I believe that I’ve been tolerating your vulgarity and so on and have been extremely nice(in my point of view) to you. Seriously, I was glad for you when you decided to stop your vulgarity thing and seemingly became a nicer person, but this time your accusations are way off tangent. I am definitely not uncomfortable in anyway to talk to the rest of the people in class, and that includes you.
You know what, I feel that you have no right to be as judgemental as you are. You definitely do not practice what you preach. Bond the class? May I know how you have tried to bond the class? How you have tried to talk to us? Not to me definitely. Who are you to act like a saint and start judging people?( of course, you will start denying that you’re not judging anyone but making a fair comment.) I do agree with you that the class needs to bond more, but I think you could have put it across in a nicer manner without any finger-pointing. You know that the ones you finger-point at would definitely be offended, so why do it? really, I believe you are matured enough than to include points that you feel are offensive. And may I add that you did not turn up for the class outing on national day for some reason or other?(it may not be your fault, but it is also not anyone’s fault when they have something on on the class outing day. So, no finger pointing again please. We all take the effort and you know it. so stop judging) “We must compromise and keep our silence to maintain the peace.” May I ask what you are doing now? keeping silence and maintaining the peace? (again…a flawed suggestion when you do not practice what you preach)

and wait a minute. the carnival as a prime example? of what? i believe that the carnival is a PRIME EXAMPLE of how the class was united in trying to get the booth up and done successfully. may i ask how the "family"(again, this is the way you phrased it, not us.) has put in a solo effort? xinen gave everyone different responsibilities, anyone could take part in ANY of the different grps responsible for getting the different task done. and i wonder, you were doing the flowers with us too. and may i ask, who is in the "family" you are referring to? if we are the ones in the supposed "family" clique, and YOU did the flowers thing with us, are you then, in our family? and are you not chiding yourself all this while? seriously. what solo effort was there? i dont think any task completed in the carnival could have been accomplished without the help of group work. It is then ONCE AGAIN, unfair for you to happily push the blame to the "family" clique with such ease as you do, CherHern.

ahhhhhhh. carnival is FINALLY OVER. i feel all flustered up and rawrish! well done everyone! i feel so URRGHHRAWR tt i wasnt there for most of the time and im supremely sorry! but our stall can be considered a HUGEEEEEEE BIG fAT success! *yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyys* =) we sold everything. like seriously everything. we even sold jingmins germanium and almost sold timmos yellow rose! haha. like once we put down ANYTHING it gets snatched up. talk about greatly IN DEMAND! hahahah.. all my friends were saying tt 04A11's shop is the most well-known and successful and sure-win-best-carnival stall. heheheheh. quite happy!

jo has been calling balloon suppliers and chocolate suppliers as well as actively looking for cheap suppliers for roses. also a large part of brainstorming. joshua has joined in the brainstorming for one session.
joanna is trying to collect money for the carnival tshirt. HINT*HINT.
edwin has designed a gorgeous poster. everyone can see it.
en has designed the order form, does administrative coordination with teacher i/c, been down for banner painting.
woon has been going down to balloon suppliers, doing the flyers to be pasted on ct benches.
andrew huixian shunling have been working conscientiously for the banner, including purchase of materials and design.
furthermore andrew huixian shunling charmaine stephie ziyao have painted dilligently till 7+pm. i am so grateful, the banner looks awesome.
joshua has come down to say hi twice. there are some (unconfirmed list) who have come on saturday to paint as well.
an unconfirmed list painted on thursday. please inform me on who you are.
tammy jessmin have been involved in mixing paint and dedicated an hour plus each to the banner painting sessions.
stephie has also been involved in negotiations with the interact club.

lemme clarify: no intention of pissing anyone off. stating very factual things. if you have done something significant which should be up here, please inform me. otherwise please look at what the class has been doing. some of the guys, i insist you be there to hang the banner, help with the costumes, or at least try to publicise what we are doing to some people.

some stuff that you can do.
- the order forms should be given out by wednesday/thursday latest. publicise for the class.
- get your black outfit. someone please offer to look for masquerade masks, cheap ones.
- we'll need people to photocopy things. anyone's mom/dad can photocopy? i'm afraid my mom and dad together can only photocopy about 200-300 copies. we might need up to a thousand. this is a serious problem at the moment.
- anyone want to make a website/diary? just a simple website to explain all the items we're selling so that we can include it on the order form and the consumer will have more faith in our products.

that's all i wanna say. thanks to everyone who's shown an interest in what the class is doing. thanks to lots of people for really putting in effort. :)

another week to go. i am cautiously optimistic.
